Local Priorities Mobile phone theft Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Two Phone snatches

There were two phone snatches on Bank Holiday Monday (25th August) between 1640-1655 hours. One of the snatches was on Essex Road outside the Nuffield Gym and the other one was in the Town Park. Both victims described the suspect was wearing a high Viz jacket and was on a push Bike.

If any residents on Essex Road have any CCTV footage of the suspect, please get in touch.
